It's egg-xactly what I was looking for!
During our trip to Germany in 2005, we often enjoyed soft boiled eggs at breakfast. On the same trip, while shopping in Munich, I spotted these stainless steel egg cups from WMF, a German housewares company. The egg cups stack neatly together, so they don't take up a lot of cupboard space; have a sleek look that goes in any kitchen or with any tableware; and the stainless steel makes them quite sturdy and indestructible, even after 7 years, there are no scratches or chips. We use these almost once a week and I've become quite a fan of the WMF brand.

Some Trivia on Trivets
Here's a little bit of trivia on two of my favorite trivets ~ the one on top was purchased in a home store in San Francisco, (I just checked and you can also order them from Amazon). Then we collected a cork from each winery we visited in Napa, and now we have a useful and memory filled kitchen accessory. The second trivet is a special two-for-one trivet and puzzle. It is made of two types of wood, use them nestled together for a bowl, separate them and connect the ends for a casserole. The puzzle comes when you try to put them back together. Looks simple, but requires some thought. This was purchased by an craftsman during an art show on the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest.
